Meet Duke

Great Dane Mix• Elefsina, Greece

For lovers of large dogs, this beautiful, kind giant is the perfect match. Duke might look imposing, but shelter volunteers will all tell you he's a gentle and noble gentleman who quietly commands respect from all the dogs.

Duke’s journey hasn't been easy. When he was found in 2022, he was in terrible condition and weighed a dangerously low 43kg. He was treated for Ehrlichiosis, from which he has recovered, and gained the weight he was missing. Today, at about 51kg, tests confirm that he is healthy and stable. All he is missing is the love and warmth of a family.

Duke is truly the whole package and has so much love to give to the person who finally chooses him. Do you have room in your heart (and your home) for this big boy?
